Zero Data Collection Policy

QwikSpeedTest does not collect, store, or share any personal information. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. Your test results live only on your device.

What We Collect (Nothing)

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. This includes:

Local Storage Only

💾 Your Browser, Your History

The only data stored is your speed test history — and it never leaves your device. Here's how it works:

Important: Clearing your browser cache, cookies, or local storage will remove your saved test history. This is by design — you remain in full control.

Third Party Services

🌐 External APIs Used (No Tracking)

To perform the speed test and display network information, we use public APIs. These services do not receive any personal data beyond what's necessary for the test:

Cloudflare Speed Test Endpoints — Used to measure download/upload speeds. These endpoints receive anonymous HTTP requests without cookies or identifiers. Privacy-focused CDN
ipapi.co — Used to display your public IP, ISP, and approximate location (city/country). This API is called once per page load. No data is stored or logged by us. No persistent tracking
Google Fonts — Used for typography. Font files are loaded directly; no analytics cookies are set.

⚠️ Note: Your IP address is visible to these services during the test (as with any internet connection). However, we do not log, store, or share this information. The services themselves have their own privacy policies, but they receive only standard HTTP request data.

Children's Privacy

QwikSpeedTest does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Our service is intended for general audiences and does not target children. Since we collect no data whatsoever, there is no risk of unauthorized data collection from minors.

Data Security

All communications with our speed test endpoints occur over HTTPS, ensuring encryption in transit. Since no data is stored on our servers, there are no databases to breach or leaks to worry about. Your privacy is built into the architecture:
